The camp encourages the involvement of "bunk" parents (just like a class parent). If you are interested please inform the Director. We also have sponsorship opportunities to help sponsor a specific camp activity, counselor dinners, or camp for a child whose family needs financThe camp is fully licensed as a youth camp by the State of Connecticut Department of Health and American Camps Association. All counselors go through training prior to camp.
When going on field trips, contact is maintained at all times with the camp directors by means of mobile communication.

Security Procedures:

  1. Security guards are stationed on the campsite every single day, at each point of entry.
  2. Every counselor is in constant communication with the camp directors and office via walkie talkies.
  3. Please call the day before if you know your child will not attend camp. We request a phone call by 9:15 a.m. if absence is unexpected.

The nurse will be responsible for all health care and for administering medications. All medication to be administered during camp hours must be clearly marked with the camper's name. A separate note containing dosage instructions and parent's signature must be sent as well.
