Mini Gan Program in Detail:
Camp Gan Israel was created to provide children with a fun and meaningful summer program, while fostering growth individually and socially in a Jewish atmosphere. The daily schedule includes an exciting mix of sports, special programs and activities, designed to be educational, fun and conducive to building character and nurturing friendships.
Music Program:

Music and movement learning through play, will help children achieve basic music competence while having fun singing, dancing and playing instruments. They will learn to sing using rhythmic patterns and musical improvisation. Curriculum includes modern Jewish music and well-known children's songs.

Yoga:

Kerri Gawreluk is a certified yoga teacher who has been practicing and teaching yoga in the Fairfield County area for the past 10 years. She has taught kids ages 6 weeks to 16 years in studio, school, and private settings and is excited to be joining the Camp Gan Israel crew for the second year in a row!

Soccer:
Filipo Caro is originally from Colombia & has more than eight years of experience in sports instruction. Filipo owns Filipo's Sports & Entertainment which offers programs to schools and camps developing sports skills for kids of ages 2 - 12 years old. He imparts an understanding of sports while giving the campers the time of their life!

LITTLE SCIENTISTS:
Our science sessions spark the imagination and curiousity of the children through interactive, hands-on activities

Animals:
Through the use of their senses, children will learn about animals and their environment. A special animals program will be brought to Mini Gan each week of camp, includ-ing the Maritime Aquarium, Terramar Biology, Critter Caravans, and more!
Acting Out with Karen:
This program integrates science, art, culture, and heritage. Using costumes and creative props, the children enjoy storytelling, puppetry, pantomime, improvision, games, music, dance and storytelling.

KARATE
These lessons are designed especially for the developmen-tal level of the campers. They will learn to focus, follow directions, take turns and be polite while practicing simple punches, blocks, kicks and stances. Self control and the fun of physical activity are emphasized.

GYMNASTICS
Each gymnastics class is station-based and action-packed! Its curriculum is geared to improve cardiovascular fitness, fine and gross motor skills, strength, flexibility, and balance in the physical fitness arena while developing and enhanc-ing self-discipline, self-confidence, self-esteem and general mental fitness in each camper.
