Divisions
Each of our summer programs is tailored to be age appropriate and flexible to serve the needs of each child. With each new year, children “graduate” to a higher division, where they encounter new adventures, excitement, and challenges, all built on the CGI hallmarks of safety, fun, and unconditional love. Gan Izzy - ages 5 & 6
Campers are now full-fledged members of the big camp! Each day they will join the older campers for line-up, a special part of the “Big Gan,” where campers get in the camp spirit learning camp songs and cheers and getting psyched for a busy day. They will enjoy weekly local field trips, weekly shows and entertainment, swim instruction, sports, counselor-led activities and theme times, and more.
They also will have time each day to choose the workshops that interest them. Those may include: archery, yoga, cooking, art, tennis, and theater. A highlight for the campers that take theater will be an end of summer performance.
Special for this year are two week-long workshops, which give campers an opportunity for in-depth involvement in these activities. In the first week of camp they will make puppet characters, voices and a story line. Their puppet play will be filmed at the week’s end. In circus week, they will learn lots of fun tricks, and will conclude the week with a show for the rest of the camp. See complete descriptions here.
Grand Gan - ages 7-11
In addition to sports clinics, theatre/art activities, swimming, and field trips, there will be specialty workshops. Some highlights include outdoor adventure week which features an overnight to Club Getaway, sailing week and more! See complete description here. See complete descriptions here.
